Girl wanders in wood as young child, discovers an object with a great power, shows childhood boyfriend who 5 years later goes missing.

An independent movie featuring a young protagonist
the film should appear to be financed through regional funding

Young foreign boy returns home from party only to find his Family gone, with only the shirt on his back he tells of his story crossing oceans and lands to find his Family.

An animated feature to appeal to adult audiences

the film should appear to be based on a "fictional" novel
